Description:
City Hotel in Moscow at the corner of Main and A Streets. When first built, it was owned by Abraham A.J. Frye and called the Frye Hotel. After the business changed hands, it was named the City Hotel. Fire destroyed the building in 1890 and William Carter and William A. Ladd replaced it with a brick building, renamed the Commercial Hotel. Lodgers and staff are on the front porch. Meals were 25 cents, all-you-can-eat.
