Otto Charles (OC) Carssow Grocery Store, begun at the turn of the century and operated until 1912. It was a small wooden building with living quarters adjoining. Carssow named it "Moscow's Leading Grocery." His wife was Belle Estes, one of the first students at the University of Idaho and reporter for the local paper, the "Star-Mirror." Ten people are in the picture, as well as produce and shelves lined with merchandise. Mrs. Carssow is on the right, Mr. Carssow is third from right.
